Dear Hazel, It was one of the best Christmas parties we've had in recent years and this was due to the efficiency, courtesy and friendliness of yourself and entire staff at Scholars and to the lovely ambience which in such delightful surroundings. Dear Mark, I would like to express my thanks to you and all the team at Scholars for their wonderful treatment of the Chamber and all our invited guests at our recent gathering in your restaurant. We were really impressed with the venue, the quality and variety of the food and most particularly the quality and professionalism of your staff that were excellent I may say. This was no means my first visit to your restaurant and by no means my last I venture, but there it was indeed their first or in some cases their first in its current version their previous being during their school days. Similarly I feel it will mark the beginning of many visits to your fine establishment. Everyone present was equally impressed by everything that your premises offered and the décor and ambience was remarked upon by all. It is not hard to appreciate why you have recently been awarded the well deserved accolade from the beauty on the Boyne Awards hosted by Drogheda Boro Council and indeed been a finalist at the business Awards, no doubt a winner of the future. Dear Patricia & Martin, We just have to write to you to express our heartfelt thanks for the wonderful reception you provided for us on Wednesday last. The attention to detail from both, Hazel, Glenn, the kitchen team lead by George, bar staff, waitress, Barry and all the staff was remarkable. The food in particular was excellent, with a service to match, and particularly every one of our guests came to us to comment on the quality of the food and the service. When you consider that many of our guests are involved in catering at the highest level, this is high praise indeed. Many of these people are already planning future events and visits to Scholars. We would like to thank you for the Champagne, truffles and photograph, but mostly for the way you looked after Rosie and myself and our guests, which made the day one to remember forever.
